The LCD Module
Every LCD TV, monitor, and notebook display fundamentally has 3 elements: a glass panel with liquid crystal, filters, and polarizers; a light source, either compact fluorescents or LEDs; and the digital, analog, and power management integrated circuits that control the panel. Together this LCD module is combined with other subsystems to make a finished product.
iML makes analog, power management, and mixed signal ICs that have been optimized for LCD panel applications. Our products not only enable the display to function at peak performance, but also contribute to a lower-power, greener end product.
